Santa Claus Golf

• 18 hole golf course with northern characters, just a few minutes from the center of Rovaniemi.
• Built at the feet of Ounasvaara fell, the winding fairways on the forestry hillsides offer a relaxing golfing experience and beautiful views.
• Original architecture by Pekka Sivula & additional design by Lassi Pekka Tilander.
• Summer golf from May until October.
• Midnight sun: the sun does not set at all between the 6th of June and the 7th of July, so you can play around the clock in June and July.
• The reindeer that roam freely on the golf course, might join you on your round. Reindeer marks in bunkers and putting greens are noted in the local rules.

• During winter time golf is played on the winter golf course build on snow and ice.
• In winter, there are no greens but whites, instead of white golf balls, orange ones are used and trolleys are changed into sledges.
• Winter golf from the middle of February until the beginning of April.
• Cross country skiers also utilize the golf course area and downhill slopes are right next the golf course.
